Whether it’s a big question like what style of dress you want or something as small as wondering how you want to style your eyebrows, Toronto’s Bridal Show is there for you. With 150 exhibitors specializing in things like photography, fashion, beauty, food, gifts, flowers, entertainment, locations, and just about everything in between, it’s an incredible opportunity to explore your options and make some exciting choices.
“This year, it’s all about the classics, but with a modern twist,”
says show manager Lorie Sansone.
“We’re finding that couples are looking for unique ways to modify their wedding to their personalities — whether this is via DIY elements, garment tailoring, or making a classic theme come alive, as in country meets high-fashion elegance.”
Plus, Toronto’s Bridal Show isn’t just about making wedding plans — it’s also a great opportunity to score some seriously awesome deals and make your dream wedding a reality. It’s your chance to snag designer gowns starting at just $200! And with this year’s Passport Challenge, you can win prizes just by being there and shopping. Get your passport card at the show, collect stamps at featured exhibitors, and then enter the draw to win some stellar prizes!
Although there’s undoubtedly lots to check out at the Bridal Show, the big event is of course the fashion show, where you can spot all the hottest trends in dresses, accessories, and more. The show takes place at 7:30 P.M. on the 11th, 12:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. on the 12th, and 3:00 P.M. on the 13th. Be sure to plan to be around at one of those times so you don’t miss it.
If your man is coming along for the ride but can’t spend as much time analyzing colour schemes as you, don’t worry. They’ve added a new attraction this year called The Hangout, where guys can go to get a little break from wedding planning. Sansone explains that it’s
“a place the gents can call their own, complete with the Masters on the big screen, an indoor driving range and putting green, as well as a bit of pampering with free hot-towel shaves.”
Toronto’s Bridal Show will take place in Hall C of The Direct Energy Centre from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Friday, April 11, 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 12, and 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 13. And lucky for you, tickets this year are “buy one, get one free.” So for just $20, both you and your partner or a friend can enjoy all the wedding planning fun together!
