Iron Maiden have been performing and playing together over nearly 40 years and have released nearly 40 albums. The iconic heavy metal band is coming to Toronto to promote their latest album The Book of Souls, which was released in September 2015 and features single “Speed of Light”. The band is well known for the songs like “Brave New World”, “Run to the Hills”, or “Caught Somewhere in Time”.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid

Since Hans Christian Andersen wrote The Little Mermaid, the fairy tale has amused generations of children and adults. After the movie’s success, the story has been adapted on Broadway, and now the show is coming to Toronto with a production at the Randolph Theatre. You will have a chance to hear all the popular songs, like “Kiss the Girl”, “Part of Your World”, and “Under the Sea” written by Oscar-winning Disney tunesmith Alan Menken. This musical is spectacular fun for the whole family!

Ludovic Navarre, known as St Germain, began his career in 1995 as a house/nu jazz musician. He achieved a great success, especially with his albums Boulevard (1995) and Tourist (2000), selling over 4 million copies of the latter worldwide. After fifteen years he found his way back to the studio, recorded a new album titled St Germain, and won another positive acknowledgement, particularly for his lead single, “Real Blues.”

TIFF Kids Film Festival

TIFF Kids is among the largest children’s film festivals in the world! Every April, kids and youth are welcome to watch movies from Canada and around the world. Children and parents are not only entertained, but can also learn about new ideas, cultures, and issues that young people are facing today. In addition, there are always discussions with filmmakers and special guests held during the festival.

One of the best-selling artists of all time, numerous award-winning pop star Rihanna is heading up to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre with her Rihanna Anti-World Tour. The show features many of her hit singles, as well as a special guest Travi$ Scott, an American recording artist, music producer, and musician. Her previous tour was one of the highest grossing and sold out worldwide, so if you don’t want to miss the concert, you’d better get your tickets right away.
CN Tower Climb
Date: April 16 – 17, 2016
Location: CN Tower
CN Tower Climb is annual, fun, and family-friendly charity event organized by World Wildlife Foundation. You can take a photo with WWF’s panda mascot, climb the CN Tower, and stand on the glass floor while enjoying marvellous view of Toronto. Teams or individual participants will climb the stairs of the CN Tower to raise money for WWF’s critical conservation work including helping species and wildlife thrive! Public walk takes place on April 16, the team challenge on April 17. Registration is required.
