NHL Centennial Classic

Come and experience the game that defines Canada on special match this season. In celebration of 100 years of NHL Toronto Maple Leafs will face-off Detroit Red Wings in the first-ever NHL Centennial Classic. This game will be a rematch of 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic and will try to commemorate the outdoor match of the century.

DJ Skate Nights

Sharpen your blades and find a glittery sequin dress because the most popular party on ice is back this year! Come to Harbourfront Centre Natrel Rink where you can skate under the stars to live music and DJ sets and have an evening of ice dancing and fun. You will only need a couple of friends and a pair of warm socks since you can rent skates on site for $10 and get something hot to drink or eat at nearby rink-side restaurant.

Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival

TIFF’s picks for best Canadian films of 2016 are in! Experience the best of Canadian cinema industry at the Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival. You can see movies such as Angry Inuk, Hello Destroyer, It’s Only the End of the World, Maliglutit, Mean Dreams, Nelly, Old Stone, Those Who Make Revolution Halfway Only Dig Their Own Graves, Werewolf or Window Horses or various shorts from Canadian directors and filmmakers. This year’s festival will also include a number of classic Canadian titles as part of TIFF’s year-long celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday and its rich cinematic heritage.
